Tonight: Women in Hip Hop

Hip hop is still a young musical genre - it began in the South Bronx of New York City in the 1970s. It was, and to an extent still is, largely dominated by men. But just as women broke into the work force, politics and everything else that used to be an “old boys club,” women have bust onto the hip hop scene with mad style! Tonight we pay respect to the queens of hip hop.
