Tonight we'll be joined by Neal and Britt from The Good Life Community Bike Shop, Calgary's community and environment friendly one-stop bicycle hub for beginners and bike pros alike! The Good Life has earned heaps of recognition within the community for their outstanding volunteer based mandate and for their focus on sustainable transport. The Good Life offers bicycle maintenance and repair workshops to the public and runs a recycling program which encourages the community to donate used bikes and bike parts which can in turn be refurbished and sold back to into the community.
Neal and Britt will be speaking with Allison and I about recent goings-on at the shop. We'll also be hearing about two particular recurring workshops at The Good Life: Women's Wednesdays and Gears For Queers. Don't miss out, this will be a fun chat!
